He's known for being vain - but Simon Cowell took his manly display of chest a few buttons too far on Britain's Got Talent last night.
The 51-year-old head judge had returned to the show for the first live semi-final - but put some viewers off their tea with his display of hair-covered moobs.
The star had unbuttoned his white shirt under his pale grey suit almost to his navel to show off his he-vage - male cleavage - in a style so Seventies all that was missing was a medallion.

Horror mooby: Simon Cowell showed off his man boobs with a shirt alsmost open to his navel at the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals yesterday

Chest awful: The head judge appeared to think he'd nailed his look however and gave waiting fans a 'V for victory' sign as he had a cigarette outside the studios
Cowell displayed his macho man look outside the BGT studios as he enjoyed a cigarette with ex girlfriend Jackie St Claire, 52.
Perhaps Simon's eye-popping style was designed to draw attraction away from the current furore surrounding his other project, the X Factor, in both the UK and U.S, over the dumping of judge Cheryl Cole.
However, it didn't quite work. As he puffed away outside a studios, a waiting fan was heard to shout: 'What's happening with Cheryl?'

Acting innocent: Simon shrugged off a fan who asked him: 'What's happening with Cheryl?' in reference to her sacking from the U.S. X Factor and being left of the panel of the UK version

Good friends: Simon arrived at Britain's Got Talent's north London studios with his ex girlfriend Jackie St Claire, right, who's remained a close friend of the head judge
However, serene Simon just gave a shrug of the shoulders.
He was given stiff competition in the he-vage stakes from fellow judge David Hasselhoff on the panel too - though the Hoff was sporting much less chest rug.
Meanwhile, Amanda Holden, 40, has already arrived at the BGT studios today ahead of tonight's show.

Girl on a motorcycle: Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden arrived at the show's studios using two wheels again today

No helmet hair: Amanda made sure she gave her blonde locks a good swishing when she dismounted as pillion passenger and took off her helmet

Let's go to work: Amanda, seen on the left arriving today, was also driven to the BGT semi-finals on the back of a motorbike yesterday too, right
The judge again made her grand entrance as a pillion passenger on the back of a motorbike.
But when she dismounted and took off her helmet, it looked more like she was auditioning for a shampoo advert than getting ready to judge a talent show.
The blonde star swished her hair at the waiting fans before striding into the studios in skintight jeans and studded stiletto ankle boots.

Back where he belongs: Simon Cowell returned to the judging panel last night to join Michael McIntyre, David Hasselhoff and Amanda

You're through: Hot favourite Ronan Park, left, and pianist Paul Gbegbaje, right, were both voted through to Saturday's grand final last night
Tonight's show is the second in five live semi-finals ahead of Saturday's grand final.
Last night saw hot favourite, 12-year-old Ronan Parke win through with his cover of Adele's Make You Feel My Love.
Tonight, another two acts will be put through after a public vote picks out the top three.
The act with the most votes will be put through to the final automatically, then the judges will choose between the remaining two.
However, last night, the panel was split 50/50 - meaning the public vote again came into action, and pianist Paul Gbegbaje, 19, went through after landing more votes than BMX stunt rider Joe Oakley, also 19.
