True Grit's leading lady, Hailee Steinfeld, may be a rising star in Hollywood, but she admits at home she's still just a regular 14-year-old who sometimes gets scolded by her parents."I'm a normal girl. I get in trouble for texting too much and using the computer too late – all kinds of stuff like that," Steinfeld told PEOPLE at the 16th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards, where she collected her first high-profile acting trophy as best young actress.
"I'm not getting used to it at all," she says of her new stint as an awards show standout. "This is so new to me. This is the beginning of it all and this is really exciting for me. I'm really honored to be a part of it."

Steinfeld, who plays determined teen Mattie Ross who is in search of a killer in the Coen brothers' acclaimed western film, said he life hasn't changed much despite the sudden flurry of accolades and attention.
"Honestly, the biggest difference is that I'm a lot busier than I was," she said. "And I think that I haven't changed as a person. If anything, the biggest change would be if I were to change, and I wouldn't let that happen. I have amazing parents who have kept me grounded, and my brother and my whole family and everybody has been so supportive."
The young star is also adjusting to having style teams fuss over her for her red carpet appearances. "It's fun and it's crazy," she said, "because three months ago I would be doing my own hair and makeup and going crazy because I didn't think it looked good." #people.com #pic INF
