A British tourist has been stabbed to death and four others left wounded after being attacked by two Greek taxi drivers on the Greek holiday island of Zakynthos.
Witnesses said violence flared after a group of youths angered two Greek men, aged 21 and 25, by shining laser torches at them while they ate in a restaurant.
The 19-year-old Briton and his friends, all of them in their twenties, were rushed to hospital after the bloody attack early today at the popular Laganas resort.

But doctors could not save the holidaymaker, who one official said had been stabbed through the heart in the row.
Another official explained how one attacker had gone berserk during the incident.
'He used a knife and stabbed all five,' he said.

The four injured Britons were being treated in hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police say the two men have been arrested and detained, but did not name any of those involved in the violent incident.
'One of the taxi drivers confessed and showed police where the knife was,' the official said, adding that both drivers were expected to appear before the prosecutor within the day.
One Greek news website said the dead man and his friends were outside a nightclub when the argument started with the taxi drivers.
Greece welcomes 15 million tourists each year, nearly a fifth of them British.
Many coastal resorts have become plagued by the violent and rowdy behaviour of some drunken holidaymakers.
