She found fame as the voluptuous resident beautician of Essex - with curves in all the right places.

But with her TV career taking off Amy Childs seems to have taken note of the phrase 'the camera adds ten pounds' and appears to have lost at least double that.

The reality TV star was looking extremely thin compared with her usually curvy frame as she arrived at the ITV studios yesterday.

Wearing a brown animal print dress Amy showed off her shrinking waist with a black waistbelt and her limbs were looking noticeably slimmer than in recent months.

Her collar bones were prominent and even her surgically-enhanced chest was looking smaller as she made her way to present her fashion shot on This Morning.

Perhaps the pressures of appearing on TV as well as her upcoming stint as a Big Brother housemate has meant the former TOWIE star has made a concerted effort to slim down.

Before it emerged that Amy would not be returning to the Essex based reality TV show after clashing with TV bosses, there were reports that the TOWIE girls were in a battle to be the skinniest on the show.

On Monday, Amy spotted out in Brentwood, Essex, pounding the pavement going for an early morning jog in a bid to maintain her slim figure.

A source told heat magazine: 'There's a lot of rivalry between all of the girls, as they're all aware that whoever looks the best will get the most shoots.

'They're obsessed with how they look and watch the show to check if they look thin. The girls all compare their bodies, and it's now a race to look the best before the new series starts filming.'

Amy, 21, is said to have slimmed down from 9st to 8st 9lbs in recent weeks and is certainly a lot slimmer than when she was seen covering up while on holiday in Marbella at the end of May.

The reality star was seen sporting a bloated stomach, perhaps from too much alcohol while on holiday, and certainly had a fuller figure compared with now.
