Cardiff Crown Court heard how 6ft 5in Chiplin pushed the 5ft 3in model to the ground breaking her toe.

Mr Greenwood said: 'Chiplin then marched into the bathroom where he starting smashing things, screaming and ranting.

'When he came out of the bathroom he pushed Miss Meek against a glass window causing her to bang her head.

'He continued to damage furniture before he burst out crying and went to bed.'

The court heard Chiplin was 'paranoid' about Rosie - his girlfriend of three years - having contact with any other men.

Chiplin, of Ely, Cardiff, admitted actual bodily harm and common assault.

He was jailed for six months, suspended for a year, and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.

Judge Patrick Curran banned him from contacting Rosie for five years and put him on a domestic abuse program.

David Webster, defending, said: 'These young people are both immature and one has a serious problem with his temper.

'Theirs was a foolish relationship worsened by the fact that one is pursuing a career in showbusiness.

'They should probably have split up sometime before.'

Blonde Rosie, who has appeared in Zoo and Heat magazines, was a contestant in the last series of Channel 4's Shipwrecked.

She is currently filming a new series of the reality TV show on a Pacific island. dailymail.co.uk
